AM - Fun out & back run up the canyon with RAD.  Gorgeous morning.  Great temperature. Felt pretty good.  No mountain lion sightings today.  8.06 miles @ 8:52 /mile avg.

As a side note - this run puts me over the 200 mark for the month, and over the 2000 mark for the year.

Noon - TM (0%) - 6.0 miles progressive - 6.5 to 8.4 mph  (8:17 avg)  Not sure why but sometimes when i'm struggling on the TM, it feels better to speed up than to slow down.  Maybe part of it is just getting it over with sooner.

Thanks for the canyon run! Made the hills tolerable :) You should've said something about this being such a momentous run, I would've gotten the ice cream out for a celebration :)

Agreed on the TM - once I'm in the 'swing' of the pace, I just want it done!

It was a blast. Let me know when the next one is scheduled!

(I'd trade those milestones in for a marathon PR...)

Nice job on the great training this year Cal. And I know exactly what you mean about the treadmill.

Congrats on the over 200 and 2000, that really is so cool!

I feel the same way about the treadmill. It is easier to run at a faster pace. Also glad to see the hammie didn't bug you today.
