Noon - Gorgeous day on the Parkway, low 60's, light breeze. (especially good for this late in October).  7.89 miles @ 8:08 avg pace.

Much nicer than the treadmill.

Late PM - 5.0 on the TM (0%) - progressive 7.0 to 8.0 mph

Nicer than running outside.

** New strategy for Ogden marathon - get to ideal race weight early in the training, instead of waiting 'til the last 4 weeks. **

YOu look great. I've been slumping.

great job. how are we getting so lucky with the weather?

From Calvin on Tue, Oct 19, 2010 at 18:27:10 from 66.133.117.3

i think this is the springtime that we didn't have earlier in the year

Just noticed the new profile picture - very nice man! My picture at the end looks like I am going to pass out. Looks like you are still getting in some good miles - any races planned before the end of the year?

From Calvin on Tue, Oct 19, 2010 at 19:19:29 from 66.133.117.3

no major races. maybe a couple of 5K's but not anything serious.

You'll be cold all winter without that nice extra layer of fat. Good luck getting to or staying at ideal raceweight.

From RAD on Wed, Oct 20, 2010 at 13:35:45 from 67.172.229.125

You worked so hard to get there, you just need to maintain now...right? You'll do great, and your running is looking great as well. Now we just have to prepare for the dark, cold months ahead - YUCK!

So, you are starting the weight loss now? For St George I started in February, got there by June, then it crept back on me slowly and now it will not budge!

From Calvin on Wed, Oct 20, 2010 at 15:19:34 from 66.133.117.3

For me, I talked about losing weight for St. George from January until about July. Then i finally got serious in Mid August and actually did something about it.

(Then i've been in the creeping stage since about October 2nd)

Weight sucks. But losing it makes you faster for sure.

From Missee on Thu, Oct 21, 2010 at 01:24:05 from 75.169.138.206

I could lose weight a lot easier if I didn't enjoy eating as much as I do!!! I'm sure I'm not the only one w/ this dilemma!

Good luck with your new strategy! I hope it works for you!

My problem is cookies and ice cream and Halloween candy. Oh, and I like to eat out, too.
