Nice workout.
So do you think there is a PR left in you for this upcoming SGM? You've definately put in the miles but you aren't getting any young. What time would it take to PR?

Yeah, i think i'm still capable of another PR, but it's not a given. My training and races are comparable to last year, overall mileage is a bit higher, but i'm still a couple of lbs above where i was then.
the nice thing is that i have all the splits from last year, so i can go out and have a competitive race with my former self. (it will take a 3:06 or better to do it.) feeling pretty good about my chances...

Good luck on beating former Cal this year!

Just hang around the finish area for 15-30 minutes so I can talk to you and see if you were able to do it. All you need is a few of the stars to align and you'll do it.

Cal I think the chances are pretty good for you and the PR this year. Like Terry said a lot of it will depend on what the stars are doing that day and what the race magic factor is but you certainly have earned it with the stellar training the last while.

This should be a big story down at St. George. It should make the front page! **CAL 2009 VS CAL 2010** Legas will be taking beats. Maybe ESPN will cover it. Well maybe not, but I'm interested.

Cal, nice work. I hadn't realized until now that today I did pretty much what you did Tuesday morning. Good minds thinking alike? I hope so.
